Have no fear with soft-edge applique! Heather French's step-by-step directions and clear diagrams make this quilt come together in a hurry. Quilt is washed when finished to fray the edges; prewashing fabrics first is highly recommended. Kona Cotton Solid colors included are: Buttercup, Zucchini, Aqua, Baby Pink and White. Pattern states the finished size to be approximately 31" x 38" after washing and drying. I actually made my quilt larger to measure approximately 36" x 43.5" by increasing some of the sash and border pieces. Some additional supplies needed include 1.5 yards of backing, batting, craft scissors and general sewing notions, fabric markers and matching or clear thread.
