New From Christa

I finally have more Charming Chevrons Kits available. This is the quilt that will be shown at QuiltCon later this month. My blog tutorial is now complete so you can follow along and make it at your own pace!

I just received more Moda Seascapes Precuts including charm packs, layer cakes and jelly rolls. I also have more "Sea of Squares" quilt kits that I designed as part of my current quilt-along series.

If you like beach themed precuts, check out Ocean View by new Moda designer and artist Paul Brent. This whimsical group features flip flops, coral reefs, and cabana stripes in fun bright colors!

But wait, there's more! I also got in restocks of two very popular basics groups: Berenstain Bears Polka Dots and Laurel Burch Glitter. Available by the yard or fat quarter, these are sure to brighten up any quilt or sewing project!

Finally, if you are practicing your FMQ (free-motion quilting) skills, you will want to stock up on a few of my favorite quilting notions: Pinmoors for basting, Machingers Quilting Gloves for easier handling of your quilt, and a Free-motion Slider for the bed of your machine.

Shipping Rate Changes

USPS rates have changed effective today, and I am happy to say that I can still offer Free Shipping to every order sent to the US, with no minimum purchase required!

For my international friends, I am able to offer a 20% discount off of the posted USPS rates.

Here's an example: a flat rate envelope can hold up to 8 yards of fabric, and would normally cost $19.95 to Canada or $23.95 to all other countries. With my discounted shipping rates, you'll only pay about $15.96 to Canada or $19.16 to all other countries per flat-rate envelope.

For your convenience, I have installed a shipping calculator to the checkout process. It varies based on weight and destination and it allows you to see exactly what your international shipping charges will be, before you pay.

So shop to your heart's content knowing I will handle your orders quickly and efficiently!

Laurel Burch Restocks

Laurel Burch's cats are back with Fabulous Felines, a stunning line of metallics featuring her beautiful artwork in her signature bright colors.

As of this writing, I have 4 full collections of Laurel Burch Basics including Circles, Glitter, Hearts and Triangles. A new line of basics is released for each new design collection and I plan on carrying them all!

Flying Colors II is a reprise of an earlier line. It features butterflies, hummingbirds and dragonflies with a plethora of fun bright coordinates.
